Before I tell you who is playing, let me remind you that K and I are big rock fans, K more metal but still big rock fans. So with that said, Iron Maiden is headlining the 4th of July set in Milwaukee's Summerfest with a special guest of Alice Cooper. I looooove Alice Cooper. Love. I have since I was a kid and grew into a huge fan after Wayne's World, lol. Anyway, we've both seen both bands before and IM is incredible to see live. I would say that even if you didn't have a clue as to their music and didn't like metal you would still enjoy yourself. The way the crowd is so in tune with the band, the musicality, everything.
Anyway, there is no way in hell K would let us miss this show. So I compromised. I'm not 100% sure what we are going to do through the 5th through the 8th but I know that from June 30th (or possibly the 29th) through the 4th (am flights) we are going to plan on heading to Siesta Key, Florida!!

Doesn't it look fabulous? Airfare is reasonable, rentals are very reasonably priced and Siesta Key has been voted one of the best beaches in the world and #1 in this country. I'm pumped. I can't wait for 4-5 days in the sun and relaxing on the beach. I can't wait to get everything booked so I can officially start my countdown.
